About: A Crown of Shadows
In this thrilling drama,
the Tsunami Radio Theater takes it’s listeners back to the 1800’s; a time of war
and strife and sexual repression. Capt. William Chester Minor confronts his
personal demons as he travels from Ceylon to America and London. A surgeon in
the Civil War, he is ordered to brand a man with a “D” on his cheek as a sign of
a deserter. This act haunts him and causes him to lose his mental balance, only
to find redemption in his work for the Oxford English Dictionary. Based on a
true story, this is a tale of hope and passion. Our fine cast of radio
thespians, lead by Robert Babish as Capt. Minor, brings this historical drama to
life.
